What Helps – Products & Tools
Air plants rarely need chemicals – the key ‘products’ are soft water (rainwater, distilled or RO) and good airflow. For the occasional mealybug or scale, reach for a light horticultural oil or insecticidal soap followed by a thorough rinse, plus dilute alcohol on cotton buds for spot-treatment. Yellow sticky traps monitor damp-loving flies. Avoid heavy sprays and never leave residue in the crown.
