For honeysuckle the useful kit is insecticidal soap or neem for aphids and whitefly, horticultural oil for scale and spider mites, Bt for caterpillars, sulphur or potassium-bicarbonate spray for powdery mildew, and a copper fungicide for leaf blight or leaf spot. Pruning for airflow and keeping the roots cool and moist prevent most trouble. Spray in the evening to protect pollinators and follow the label.
