What Helps – Products & Tools
Lithops want tools of restraint more than sprays: a gritty, mostly-mineral potting mix and a well-draining pot are the main ‘products’. For the rare pest, keep isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs for mealybugs, a little horticultural oil for scale, yellow sticky traps and Bti for fungus gnats, and iron-phosphate bait for slugs. There is no chemical fix for rot – only correct watering. Follow any product label and keep oils off the body in strong sun.
