Growing as aquatic plant
Root inside the water and the leaves outside, possible to put soil in the water and treat it as water plant in pond, grow the best on the hedge of the pond, fertilizer need to add few time a year and be aware that fish will eat the roots.

Growing as aquatic plant
It is not recommend but possible, need to keep the plant in high humidity, spray that plant few times a day (or just to use in a cold mist machine) important to fertilizer the roots by spray
