Little is needed: insecticidal soap and neem or light horticultural oil for mealybugs and aphids, alcohol swabs for spot-treating mealybugs, beneficial nematodes for vine-weevil grubs in pots, and iron-phosphate pellets or grit for molluscs. Disease is almost entirely prevented culturally, with a copper or biological fungicide only for occasional grey mould. A gritty, free-draining mix and honest light are the essential ‘products’ for this little crassula.
