Plant / Seeds (explanation bellow) / Vegetative reproduction – cutting leaf, cut the leaf or cut in the base of the leaf with hand not anything sharp and wait at least 24 hours or if not cut in the base or cut with sharp object need wait few days to few weeks until the tissue will hill, put it in well-drained soil, and water it every few days small amount of water, let in dry but not fully dry, after few weeks to month it start to grow root, better to start cutting indoor with sterile soil reduce the amount of pests.

No, but to start from seeds takes a lot of time and harder

Yes, grow in pot that 20%-30% bigger than the roots ball, also the drainage of the soil it’s important, better to use for soil potting soil and in the bottom to put something inert like lava grit or “little rocks” in the bottom, put soil of the cactus potting mix, but after few years drainage of the soil not function the same so need to change it to new soil
